RoofClaim HQ exists to help homeowners understand the roof damage insurance claims process — from spotting hail and wind damage to filing a claim, working with adjusters, and appealing a denial — in plain English, without a sales pitch attached.

Roof damage claims involve real money and real deadlines, and the process is confusing by design: policy language is dense, adjusters and contractors sometimes disagree, and homeowners are often making decisions for the first time under time pressure. Our guides are written to close that information gap before you pick up the phone, not after.

Why this site exists

This site was born from the founder's own denied hail claim: three licensed roofing contractors documented significant hail damage, the insurer's inspections found "absolutely none," and the denial survived every escalation step — including a state insurance department complaint. The full, dated story is published as a case study, and the lessons from it run through every guide on this site.

How we're funded

This site is supported through two channels: connecting homeowners with local roofing contractors through our find a roofer form, and affiliate relationships with insurance carriers and comparison services described in our affiliate disclosure. Neither relationship influences the educational content of our guides.
